At Dar-e-Zahra, we've been working tirelessly on several projects to improve the outlook of our Imambargah and the comfort of Azadaran-e-Imam Hussain (as). Your support in the form of donations goes a long way in helping us achieve our goals and create a more inviting environment, Insha'Allah!

Ongoing Project​

1. Men's prayer area foundation remodeling

  • Goals: 

    • Durable and safe: use materials that withstand heavy foot traffic.

    • Comfortable and clean: ensure flooring is comfortable for prolonged use. 

    • Accessible and low-maintenance: accommodate all community needs and choose low maintenance materials.

    • Budget-friendly: balance quality an dcost.

Completed Projects

  1. Transforming The Landscape:​​

    • Goals:

      • Cut down of seventeen (17) trees

      • Stump removal (Rented equipment)

      • Ground leveling (Rented equipment)

      • Installation of an underground water waste drain line for the parking lot

      • Spreading gravel to level and utilize the front lot as a parking area​

  2. Sheltering The Alam-e-Shuhada-e-Karbala (as)

    • Goals:​

      • Put shade on top of Alam of 72 Shuhada-e-Karbala

      • Pole installation of Alam (14 ft)​

  3. Providing Islamic Education For Youth

    • Goals:​

      • Provide kids with Quran classes

      • Offer teachings on Ikhlaq, History, Aqaid, and Fiqah​​

  4. A Permanent Concrete Parking Lot:

      1. ​Leveling the ground

      2. Spread gravel in the parking lot​

    2. Action Needed:

      1. Obtain estimates from different contractors (2 or 3)
